Jennifer’s Body is the story of two high school friends, the popular, pretty bad girl Jennifer (Megan Fox) and her geeky (which of course in movie land means “also incredibly hot, but wears glasses) B.F.F./toadie Anita “Needy” Lesnicky (Amanda Seyfried). One night when Needy would rather spend time with her boyfriend Chip, Jennifer drags her to the local dive to see a douchey indie rock band (called Low Shoulder) whose lead singer Jennifer wants to hook up with. Before Jennifer gets a chance to work her magic, though, the whole place catches fire, killing several people. A shell-shocked Jennifer is lured into the band’s van despite Needy’s protests. Later that night, Jennifer shows up a Needy’s house covered in blood and up-chucks disgusting black goo all over the kitchen floor before running away.
