A little while ago, my pal Josh Burnett mentioned the One Page Dungeon Contest. Since Josh submitted an entry ("Down The Gullet of the Space-God!"), and since I needed a break from working on Roller Girls Vs., I decided to put my own entry together. Since I can't draw purty like Josh, I decided to come up with a dungeon where a fairly basic map would do, and decided to go with something that just needed a basic floorplan kind of map. At first I considered doing "Zombies at the Cineplex," with a map of the theater and surround area that showed what potential weapons were where, which booth the zombified projectionist could be found in, and where that convenient delivery truck was parked. Eventually I decided that since I've done zombies a million times, I should try something a little different. That's when I came up with the idea of trying to fit a complete murder mystery into one page. My "dungeon" is actually a crime scene, and is ingeniously titled "Scene of the Crime." You can download it here.
